Nobody has played the loser in love so often or better than Kamal Haasan. In movies like Moodram Pirai, Valvae Mayam, Aboorva Sogodhargal, Punnagai Mannan, Gunaa and Ek Dujhe Ke Liye Kamal failed miserably and spectacularly in love. Sometimes he makes all the bad decisions, at other times there are vested interests or unhappy circumstances involved but love is the loser in each instance.
