Filmi folklore has it that Meena was discovered by none other than the legendary Sivaji Ganesan and she made her debut in his film. The budding actress starred in many films as a child, the most notable being Anbulla Rajinikanth with Superstar. Later she would become his heroine in films like Veera, Muthu and Ejaman and there are many who would swear that they make the best onscreen couple. After a long and illustrious career Meena retired to the small screen and made a mark there before settling down to domestic bliss with hubby Vidyasagar and daughter, Nainika.
