Bharathiraja’s Nadodithentral is a triangular love story set in a village in the colonial era between a Tamil goldsmith and a gal who rears ducks for a living. A British girl is besotted by the goldsmith and that makes the love story complete. The film tells us that love defies even destiny, in true blue Bharathiraja style.
