Silambarasan’s film with Gautham Menon
saw the actor send his Kettavan avatar into
hibernation and reinvent himself as a polished,
refined youngster who gave a whole new definition
to romance. Trisha played his love interest
and AR Rahman did the music. From the time
the first look of VTV was out, the fans were
intrigued and the buzz surrounding the film
continued to increase. At the time of release,
the director hooked the audience with a sucker
punch in the end and they were not complaining.
