The Expendables released in 2010, was highly considered by action movie buffs as the biggest ensemble of macho heroes ever. Sylvester Stallone made the movie enjoyable despite the thin story thanks to his packaging and the presence of so many revered superstars. Now recently, a sequel to this movie was released and many consider this to be a better version of the earlier movie. The story is again just an excuse to let the bad boys flex their muscles and flaunt their tools. But, this big assembly of superstars has left the audiences wanting for more. More sequels might be spawned.

We set our minds thinking about an imaginary Expendables of our own in Tamil. For reference, we have retained the character names from the original and just looked to find appropriate replacements for the original stars from among our Tamil mass heroes.
