COMIC PURSUITS OF KOLLYWOOD
Chases are thrilling and exciting, but they also have a very funny and hilarious side. When a hero is after a bad guy, it is thrilling. But when an entire village is after Vadivelu, wanting to bash him up, it becomes side-splitting comedy. After taking a look at the more serious side of chases on Saturday, let us look at the lighter side with some of the funniest chases in Kollywood over the years.

This is definitely one of the most ingeniously crafted comic chase sequences in Kollywood - its confusion and chaos in combination. Vadivelu thinks that there is someone out to kill him, Vijay and Suriya follow Vadivelu to catch the hypothetical killer and Charlie follows Vijay and Suriya thinking that they are the killers after his boss. The chase goes round and round the house until Charlie (covered unrecognizably in a sheet) is surrounded on one side by Vijay and Suriya and Vadivelu on the other side. He gets banged on his head and subsequently loses his memory which proves to be a boon for Vijay and Suriya who had met him only a while ago.
