Kanja Karuppu’s character in Paruthiveeran has a funny name Tucklas. Perhaps the intended name was Douglas but every character in the film pronounced it as Tucklas, particularly Saravanan. Nevertheless, it had us all roaring with laughter. The way he repeatedly gets a job only to be destroyed again, tickles our funny bones. He is also remembered as Vazhavanthaan from Raam and he provided the much required comic relief in this thriller.
