A remake of yesteryear Malayalam super hit Manichithrathazhu, Rajiinikanth starred in this horror comedy venture, taking it to new levels. Chandramukhi smashed records and the train hurtled for an entire year with Jyothika giving a memorable performance. The Hindi remake failed to recreate the edge of the seat horror with Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.
