The wordsmith par excellence was given the best lyricist award for his Kallikatil porantha thaaye, from the film Thenmerku Paruvakattru. This is his sixth National award, making him the most successful and recognized lyricist in India. He is truly a dazzling gem of the Tamil Film Industry.
