Dhanush’s
Padikathavan has all the ingredients of
a pot boiler – the protagonist, who
is a Padikathavan, a pretty heroine whose
father is a gang leader and a love story.
Sadly none of these works since there’s
an overdose of violence, illogical scenes
and a dragging second half.
