One
could either play a brutal villain or a loving father, you would
think. But Prakash Raj played both with equal ease for Arindum
Ariyamalum and proved yet again that he’s versatile. He
excelled in the scenes where he longs for his son’s affection
and could not employ his villainy inside his own home to force
love. Although this role could not be connected to in real life,
double-standards (rough outside and mushy inside) of many fathers
could well be related to the character.
