NATIONAL AWARD WINNING ACTRESS OPTS OUT OF A BIOPIC

National Award winning actress Vidya Balan who was supposed to essay the role of the notable poetess from Kerala, Kamala Das, had opted out of the film.
Reports from her side indicate that her decision was due to creative differences with the director Kamal.
The Kamala Das biopic is titled as Aami and it was also said that Vidya was taking languages lessons to speak the lines in the film.
The replacement for Vidya Balan, at this point in time is not known. Looks like the unit will have to find an apt actress to do Kamala Das’s role.
