“NONE OF US ARE MEMBERS OF PETA”

In the ongoing issue on Jallikaatu, there are assumptions about some of the prominent members of our film fraternity bearing their allegiance to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

To put things in the right perspective, some of them have informed that they are not members of PETA. Soundarya Rajinikanth had tweeted to this effect which reads, “Clarifying to those who think I'm a member of PETA, it is false. I am not a member of PETA and I support #Jallikattu entirely”.

Responding to this, her elder sister Aishwarya Dhanush had also tweeted thus, “None of us are members of PETA n we as a family are proud of every tamilian involved in this massive movement n stand by in full support”
