HOW HAS ANIRUDH’S RANGU RAKKARA FARED?

As we all love Anirudh for his music, we also love his singing talent. Apart from singing in his own compositions, Anirudh has lent his voice to various music directors in the industry like AR.Rahman, D.Imman, Thaman, Vivek-Mervin, Santhosh Narayanan, Vishal Chandrasekar, Nivas Prasanna and so on. But has the Rangu Rakkara song, sung by him for Shivalinga lived up to the expectations?

Shivalinga, Raghava Lawrence’s film has music by Thaman.SS. This happens to be another collaboration for Thaman and Anirudh after Simbu’s Vaalu. It has lyrics by Viveka and Sanjana has sung along with Anirudh. The vocals are good but the tune and beats don’t back it up, not leaving a huge impact or a craving to hear it again and again. The song that released earlier today and the first impression might sound it is little short of Anirudh’s best song.
