Yuvan Shankar Raja, apart from music composing, is also bankrolling Harish Kalyan - Raiza starrer Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, in association with K Productions. The film has Yuvan's wife Zafroon Nizar, as the costume designer for Raiza. Behindwoods caught up with Zafroon Nizar on a brief chat to know about the project and her experience working in the film.

How did Pyaar Prema Kaadhal offer reach you?

Getting into movies was not planned. I am very passionate about design, in general, and not only specifically to fashion designing. PPK (Pyaar Prema Kaadhal) happened because I wanted a different experience and also wanted to be a small part of my husband's first production.

The costumes that are seen from the visuals and promos of PPK are very colourful, rich and trendy. Was the heroine's characterization in itself, very modern, or was it your decision to design the costumes in a trendy style?

The heroine's role in the movie is of a rich, sophisticated and an independent girl. I was given a colour palette. So I hope that my styling equates the heroine's character.

How was your working experience with Raiza?

Raiza is a very hard working and easy going person. I truly enjoyed working with her. In fact, we even did some work together other than PPK, for my own fashion label.
