In an exclusive interview to Behindwoods, the actress revealed that the Cameramen, Editing and make up team worked hard to cover up her acne."When acne issues started cropping up, I received several comments. Fans started saying, 'Look at this face,' and 'How will we see this face on TV?' etc., After a point, I started posting photos on my social media without make up. I had my lows. I have asked myself, 'Am I not looking good?'," she said. 

In an AMA session, Deepika took to her Instagram stories to answer some questions from fans. When one fan asked her if she's returning to Pandian Stores, she played the song 'Malare' from the hit movie 'Premam'. Looks like she's not making a re-entry into the show and will stay as 'Malar Teacher' who created a lasting impact in the serial. However, we may never know how tables might turn. A few people also asked her about her upcoming projects. She said that she's working on anything at the moment and said she's concentrating only on eating and sleeping.
