"WORKED IN A FAST FOOD JOINT, RS 750 SALARY...": VIJAY SETHUPATHI REVEALS UNKNOWN DEETS ON MASTERCHEF TAMIL SETS!

During a press meet held at the sets of the show, Vijay Sethupathi revealed several interesting and unknown details about his life including his relationship with food and cooking.

"I used to work at a fast food restaurant in Kodambakkam during my college days and my salary was Rs 750 per month," revealed the 'Master' actor and added, "I start work by 7.30 pm and stayed till 12.30 in the night. We eat after everything is closed in the night. I was also working in a telephone booth for three to four months."

What is the one food that still makes you salivate? Vijay Sethupathi explained, "We never get onion samosa these days. It is always the potato which is arrested in anger inside the samosa. If we mix sauteed onion in spices and make it in a bigger shape as a samosa, it will be delicious. That and hot tea is enough." 

The actor noted that the real MasterChef in his life is his mother. "It has always been Amma. My wife cooks very well. For me, mother is my MasterChef and for my kids, their mother is the MasterChef," he said.
