When it took a twist, Kollywood audience were all ears and excited. The popular Bollywood actor's recent movie 'Shershaah', which was released on Amazon Prime Video a month ago, has been garnering immense praise for his portrayal of Kargil war hero Vikram Batra. The movie, directed by 'Billa' Director Vishnuvardhan, stars Sidharth Malhotra as Vikram Batra and Kiara Advani as his girlfriend Dimple Cheema.
During a recent interaction with fans on Twitter, the talented actor took many questions from fans when one of them asked as to when he will act in a Tamil movie. He said that Tamil audience love his acting and requested him to act in one. Replying to the Tweet, Actor Siddharth Malhotra said, "Okay then" with a winking emoji. This reply had the Kollywood audience super-excited.

The answer didn't end there. Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the female lead in Siddharth's upcoming action movie 'Mission Majnu' joined the banter and replied, "We'll see" with a laughing emoji.

Rashmika Mandanna made her tamil debut in the Karthi-starrer 'Sulthan' which was released in the big screens earlier this year. This conversation between the duo has raised speculations as to whether the stars might do a Tamil film together. However, it remains to be seen as no official information is out yet.
