The fourth season of Tamil reality show Bigg Boss was a huge hit. Fans loved Kamal Haasan's hosting in the show and makers feel that this is one of the biggest reasons for the success of the show. Apart from serving as an entertainment to the audience, many of the actors went on to grab major roles in the Tamil film Industry.

Contestants including Snehan, Aarav, Riythvika, Aari Arujunan, Ramya Pandian, Kavin, Mugen Rao, Losliya and Vanitha Vijaykumar went on to hit the spotlight and win hearts among audiences. They also signed several films, many of which are in different stages of production.

As fans are awaiting the fifth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, pictures and information regarding shooting of the promo for the show are doing rounds on social media. According to various reports, the show is likely to start from October and will continue for three months. However, nothing is official yet. Reportedly, Kamal Haasan will host the show this time as well.

While the list of contestants going into the show is not out, speculations regarding a few are running high in the air. One among them is 'Cooku with Comali' fame Sunitha and Kani. Neither Sunitha nor Kani have confirmed their entry. The 'Cooku with Comali 2' title winner mentioned that she hasn't received any call regarding the same.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is busy shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram' which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles.
