'Valimai' also marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. The movie stars Huma Qureshi, Pearle Maaney, Yogi Babu and Kartikeya Gummakonda. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the camera is cranked by DOP Nirav Shah.

While the first single from the movie 'Naanga Vera Maari', penned by Vignesh Shivan was released a few weeks back amidst high expectations, the second single is expected to arrive anytime soon and fans are eagerly awaiting its release. At a time when Thala fans are waiting for any update to arrive regarding the trailer or teaser, the movie's dubbing artiste has given an unexpected information about the biggie. He said that he hasn't dubbed for Karthikeya Gummakonda, but for another villain in the film.
