Arri is one of the most widely used cameras in the film industry, by many acclaimed cinematographers. ARRI has been supplying cameras, in a global manner, to various film industries, spread throughout the world.

The prestigious organization has now released their 2018 showreel, and what is interesting here, is the presence of a Tamil film. Yes, we are talking about Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal.

Shots from Mersal have been placed in this showreel, amidst some Hollywood biggies like, 'Avengers: Infinity War', 'Blade Runner 2049', 'The Shape of Water', 'Black Panther', 'Baby Driver', 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri'.

The super talented G.K.Vishnu is the man behind this, who has to be credited for his fantabulous visuals in Mersal, that has now, become a part of ARRI Showreel 2018. Vishnu expressed his happiness through his Facebook post, in which he thanked Vijay, Atlee, and Thenandal Studios for the opportunity.

Mersal is the only Tamil film that has been placed on this list, along with some Hollywood biggies. Apart from Mersal, there were two other Indian films, Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic drama, Padmaavat.
