Actor Vishal was last seen in the film Sandakozhi 2, directed by Lingusamy. It was bankrolled by Vishal Film Factory, and distributed by Lyca Productions and Screen Scene. Keerthy Suresh was the female lead, while Rajkiran, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Hari Krishnan, Ramadoss and others were seen playing prominent roles.
He is currently working on a film with director Sundar C, that is produced by Trident Arts. It has Tamannaah as the female lead. Last month, the team was shooting a risky stunt sequence in which Vishal was injured.
The shoot resumed at Azerbaijan from April 1 and has been progressing at a good pace. While Khushbu Sundar came to Chennai to cast her vote in the elections, Vishal and Sundar C stayed back at Azerbaijan. The formalities required them to fill a certain Form 6 which they didn't. So, the sad news is that both of them won't be able to vote this time around.
Meanwhile, Vishal is awaiting the release of his Tamil remake of Temper. This film is titled Ayogya, and has Raashi Khanna as the female lead while, Parthiepan, Pooja Devariya, KS Ravikumar and others play crucial roles. Ayogya is set for a release on May 10, and the teaser will be releasing tomorrow.
