TAMIL REPRESENTATION IN HOLLYWOOD!

The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles begins today, the 6th April in the coveted film land of Hollywood! The festival has a strong lineup of many award winning films from all over India and it is with pride that Tamil representation at the festival is being taken care of by the 2015 critically acclaimed film Kirumi as well as the National Award winner Visaaranai. It should be noted that director Vetri Maaran is also participating in a filmmaker round table event at the festival.

Speaking on the Los Angeles screening of his debut film, director Anucharan is truly joyous to know his film has made it to Hollywood: “Kirumi is an odd Tamil movie whose life span turned out to be much longer than I expected. I’m very happy that it’s still playing around the world and that it’ll be screening in Hollywood. I wish I could be there with the audience.”
