Filming resumed after being halted due to the coronavirus-induced pandemic. The crew recently finished filming scenes starring Srinidhi Shetty. AR Rahman's first song 'Thumbi Thullal' was released and ruled the playlist. The rest of the songs are expected to be released soon. The dubbing of the film was also underway.

The teaser of the film was released in January. Chiyaan fans celebrated the teaser. Vikram comes in many get-ups in the teaser scenes.

Cricketer Irfan Pathan plays an Interpol officer. This is his debut film. The crew is currently filming in Moscow. Director Ajay Gnanamuthu shared photos from the shooting spot.

After finishing the film, Vikram will be seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. He is expected to join the Karthik Subbaraj-directed Chiyaan 60 after that. Dhruv Vikram also stars in the film. Anirudh will compose the music.
