Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and has actors like Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan and others in Anirudh's music. There has been a lot of rumours going on in social media that Thalapathy Vijay’s Master would release on OTT platforms. Even celebrities were confused and took to Twitter, demanding Master see a release in theatres first. Recently, the makers cleared it by releasing a press statement that the movie would release in theatres.

Now, there had been a wide speculation as to when Master would hit the screens. While we had already informed you that the movie will be a Pongal 2021 bonanza - we have more details about it. According to sources, the movie will release on 13th of January the coming year.

While this is sure to get fans excited - we have something more to tell you. Apparently, the movie might release only in Tamil and Telugu on that date. Obviously, we can expect the official confirmation on the same anytime soon, as the expected release date is nearing.
