Captain Vijayakanth is one of the actors who have earned an iconic image as a cop and a national hero in people's heart through his films, his son Shanmuga Pandian is set to enter the zone where Captain was most strong at, he is to play the role of a cop in his upcoming film.
Shanmuga Pandian and Ronica will be playing the lead, with Vamsi Krishna as the antagonist alongside Pawan, Sai Dheena and Azhagam Perumal. Munishkanth who has been consistently in recent hits including Petta and Ratsasan, has a pivotal role to play and will be appearing throughout the film.
The film is tentatively titled as “Production No.1’ and it is produced by G Entertainers, to be directed by debut filmmaker G. Boobalan, co-director of Siva’s Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. Arun Raj does the music for the film, Murrali Krish handles the Cinematography and Ruben handles the cuts.
" It’s a colourful entertainer laced with action and emotions. The story traverses of a young man, who completes his college, gets into police training and comes back to his home town to serve on same.” says the director. The film has been launched and the shooting will commence at July. The first look and the title of the film is expected to be released soon.
