For the past few days, old photos and videos of Vijay have been going viral on social media. Photos of Vijay meeting legendary comedian Goundamani's mother are going viral today. It has been 10 years since these photos were taken. It is said that these photos were taken during the shooting of the movie Velayutham.

Velayutham starring Vijay, Genelia and Hansika was shot in Pollachi. Goundamani's mother lives in a village near Pollachi. So Vijay, out of respect, went with director Mohan Raja and met Goundamani's mother.
