Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsVijay Sethupathi is one of the most loved stars of the industry in the recent times, aptly acquiring the title 'Makkal Selvan' - it was the feel-good comedy movie Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanom that made his name soar among the audience. From then on, the career graph has only looked up, and now he has a number of films lined up.
The latest projects that are lined up for the actor is Master, Laabam, Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal, Ka Pae Ranasingam, Tughlaq Darbar, Maamanithan, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Yaathum Oore Yaavarum Kelir and more. We recently came to know that Ka Pae Ranasingam has opted for a OTT release.
Now, another project of the actor has opted to go the same way - directed by Seenu Ramasamy adn starring Vijay Sethupathi, and Gayathrie in the lead roles, its Maamanithan that has chosen a digital release. Guru Somasundaram, Shaji Chen, Jewel Mary, and others play crucial supporting roles in the film jointly bankrolled by YSR Films and K Productions.
'Maamanithan', is in talks with Zee5, and it is positive for a direct OTT release soon. This upcoming film features Ilayaraja, Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music directors, while M. Sukumar is the cinematographer.
