Seenu Ramasamy and Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi made his acting debut as a lead in Thenmerku Paruvakaatru directed by Seenu Ramasamy. The film was well-received. Post which, they teamed up together for the films like Idam Porul Yaeval, Dharmadurai and Maamanithan. The feature film Idam Porul Yaeval is yet to be released. Dharmadurai became a huge success. The film was produced by RK Suresh, a well-known producer and actor.

Ilayaraaja joins Yuvan for the first time

Ilayaraaja and his son Yuvan Shankar have co-composed the music for the film Maamanithan. Maamanithan is the first film in which the two are paired. The fans are eagerly waiting to enjoy the music.

Maamanithan is a film directed by Seenu Ramasamy and starring Vijay Sethupathi, Gayatri, Baby Manasvi and others. Musician Ilayaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja have composed the music for the first time for this film. M. Sukumar has done the cinematography for the film. Sreekar Prasad is in charge of editing. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja produced the film under his YSR FILMS PVT LTD.

The teaser and posters of the film have already been released and received rave reviews. Dharmadurai producer RK Suresh has acquired the Tamil and Kerala theatrical distribution rights for the film. It was first announced that the film would release on May 6.

Release Postponement

RK Suresh tweeted that the movie Maamanithan will be released on May 20. It has also been announced that on May 6, director Bala will release his feature film 'Visithiran'. Visithiran is the official remake of the hit Malayalam film Joseph. The remake of the film is directed by Padmakumare in Malayalam. Composed by GV Prakash.
