Seemingly, according to our sources, the latest news is that this wedding happened on schedule on the same date (24/08/2020) at a resort and was a close event with family. The pic from the event has gone viral on social media.

The ceremony, a private affair, was held between 3pm and 4pm at a private resort in Thirukazhukundram, ECR, and was attended by family members and close friends, with all the safety precautions and measures.

Actor Atharvaa and Xavier Britto issued a joint statement, which read, “We are extremely elated to announce that the wedding ceremony took place successfully with the blessings and wishes of everyone in the family. We wanted to make this occasion more joyful as an everlasting memory for both our families by inviting everyone, but couldn’t carry on accordingly due to the pandemic issues. Eventually, it forced us to conduct this ceremony as a private affair with just our family members and friends taking part. But, we are anxiously looking forward to inviting every member of the film fraternity, media and press friends and well-wishers for the reception, which we are planning to host once the situation gets back to normal. We also solicit the blessings of one and all in their everlasting journey of togetherness.”
