After 'Poda Podi', 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaant' and 'Thaanaa Serndha Koottam', director Vignesh Shivan has directed 'Kaathuvakkula Rendu Kaadhal' with Nayanthara - Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha. The film is composed by Anirudh. This is his 25th film. The film is set to release on April 28. Cinematography by Vignesh Karthik. Red Giant Movies is releasing this film in Tamil Nadu. 

The film stars Samantha as Khatija, Nayanthara as Kanmani and Vijay Sethupathi as Rambo. Vijay Sethupathi's character is created as a person who falls in love with two people at the same time. Recently the trailer of the film was released and got attention. Samantha and Nayanthara are vying to marry Vijay Sethupathi. But Vijay Sethupathi says that he loves both of them and wants to get married.

The trailer has finally raised the question of who Vijay Sethupathi is going to marry. Vignesh Shivan has included the references of the hit films in the trailer in a way that attracts the fans. The film is UA certified by the Censor Board. The poster released with this announcement is going viral on the internet. Special screenings have been arranged for the film in a number of theaters, with much anticipation.
