EXHIBITOR SUGGESTS THE IDEAL RELEASE DATE FOR AJITH'S VISWASAM

This Pongal is going to be super-exciting for film lovers. You have Rajinikanth's much-awaited Petta, Ajith's Viswasam, Simbu's Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven all eyeing for a spot in the Pongal race. Will all three make it to theatres for Pongal is something very unlikely but there is a high chance that 2 of these big films might clash at the box-office.
 

If Viswasam releases for Pongal, on which date should it release? Rakesh Gowthaman, Managing Director of Vettri Theatres took to his Twitter to answer this question.
 

"Always Friday release is the best release day. Thursday provided Fri is a holiday. If #Viswasam releases on Jan 11, it will a have solid full packed run till 16th, then mild drop in rural areas on 17 & 18 being working day , again housefull weekend. Jan11-20 will be golden BO."
