VETRI MAARAN MAKES AYYAPPANUM KOSHIYUM TAMIL REMAKE SPECIAL WITH THIS POPULAR HERO - PONGAL TREAT!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsOne of the critically acclaimed films is Prithviraj and Biju Menon’s Ayyappanum Koshiyum which was directed by the late director Sachy. For the unversed, this was the director’s last release before he passed away in June, 2020.
This hit film was supposed to be remade in several other languages including Tamil. Earlier, it was reported that producer Kathiresan had bagged the rights of the Tamil remake and the other cast and crew details are yet to be finalised.
Now, another official news is doing heavy rounds in which it has come to limelight that Vetrimaaran is all set to produce a new film featuring Sasikumar in the lead which will be jointly bankrolled by Kathiresan of 5 Star Creations and Vetrimaaran's Grassroot Company. Looks like this is the Tamil remake of the acclaimed film.
It is a known fact that Sasikumar will be seen essaying Biju Menon's role in the Tamil remake. Apart from producing, Vetrimaran is writing the story and screenplay for the film. The shoot is expected to start in 2021 after Pongal.
