“WORKING WITH STR WAS..” - VENKAT PRABHU’S LATEST STATEMENT ABOUT MAANAADU!

In a recent interaction with actor Yugendran Vasudevan, Venkat Prabhu opened up about his experience of working with STR in the movie. He also spoke about how STR helped him during his debut film.

Venkat Prabhu said “I’ve known STR for a very long time, from his childhood. He is very close to me and is like family. During Chennai 28, he suggested I have a ‘kuthu’ song close to the climax. He also helped us sell the movie in Madurai. He is a great person.”

“We’ve been wanting to work together for a very long time, and it finally materialized in Maanaadu. A lot of people talk so many things about him, but we had no problem at all while filming for this movie. He was always there and he acted in all the scenes, calmly. I’ve heard people say that STR doesn’t act on Sundays or on evenings. For a particular sequence, we actually filmed on a Sunday night from 6pm to 6am on the next day. At times, he used to say ‘Yen Sir Night la shoot vekreenga eppopaaru’, but when the camera’s on, he transforms into this amazing actor that he is.”

‘Maanaadu’ stars STR and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie is bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi and is one of the most anticipated movies of STR. Stay tuned for more updates.
