The actress has been actively advising her followers on the precautions that have to be taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. She also shared that the virus does not transmit through animals, and not to abandon them through a video recently.
Varalaxmi recently reacted to a video where some men are seen protesting and involving in physical violence against cops. Enraged, the actress wrote: "What nonsense. The police are putting their lives in danger for us and this is how you repay them..!! What bulls**t ... these people deserve to get the virus.!!! Horrible just bloody horrible... I wanna apologise to that cop on behalf of those idiots.!!!"

However, the actress got a video showing the other side of the incident and she wrote "This proves there is always two sides to a coin." and added that this should be condemned too. The actress requested everyone to stay indoors as the tension is rising high. "Let's not make this worse," wrote Varalaxmi.
