UDHAYANIDHI STALIN INCREASES EXPECTATIONS - TALKS ABOUT VADIVELU'S PERFORMANCE IN MAAMANNAN!

Directed by Mari Selvaraj, Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan were both critically and commercially successful. Since then he has been directing the movie Mamannan with Udhayanidhi Stalin. The film is produced by Udayanidhi Stalin's Red Giants Movies. The film stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Fazil, Vadivelu and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. AR Rahman is composing the music for the film. Vadivelu's name was first featured on the poster by the film crew.

Filming for the film began in Yercaud on March 4 and the first phase was completed in April. There are credible reports that Vadivelu will be playing a politician in this film. Vadivelu's character name in the film is also said to be Mamannan. Actor Vadivelu is currently starring in Naisekar Returns in Tamil cinema after a hiatus. Both of these films are a double treat for his fans as he plays the lead role in Mamannan.

Actor Udayanithi Stalin, who recently gave an interview to Behindwoods channel, shared his experiences about working in Maamannan. He says, "Mamannan movie will be talked about a lot. You know how Mari Selvaraj shoots a film. We have already completed 30 days of filming. In it we have filmed most of the scenes of Vadivelu. Mari Selvaraj asked me to look at the scenes we have completed shooting, but I said I am gonna take a look once we have completed shooting. But Keerthy did watch it, and exclaimed to me that the scenes have come out very well, and Vadivelu sir has performed extraordinarily - Am eager to watch it and hope to do it soon". 

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
