Actor Kamal Haasan is busy with the proceeding of the ongoing third season of Bigg Boss, a successful Television reality show. After that, the actor will be shooting for Indian 2, the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian, directed by Shankar. The filming is all set to happen in August this year.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, in a recent tweet, has suggested that the long-pending project Thalaivan Irukkindraan. The film will be jointly produced by Raaj Kamal films International in association with Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. AR Rahman will be composing music for this magnum opus.
The film was supposed to be bankrolled by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner Red Giant films. In an interview to Behindwoods, Udhayanidhi Stalin told that he backed out of the project since the film's story carried a lot of political themes and that he wished to do a film with Kamal on the lines of the actor's earlier work with director KS Ravikumar.
The actor and producer had also revealed that the talks happened after the completion of Dasavatharam. Watch the full interview below.
