Nandini is a Supernatural Kannada serial that is produced by Ramesh Aravind and directed by Nithin. One of the leads, Kaavya Shastry, was playing the role of Devasena, but eventually decided to walk out because her character lost importance.
The serial was topping the rating charts during the first season, and crossed around 600 episodes, before Ramesh Aravind started producing the second season. It must be noted that Ramesh Aravind himself is a versatile actor and director.
He had last played a cameo in Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain, that was also directed by him, and produced by Kamal Haasan under the banner Raaj Kamal Films International. He is also directing the Tamil and Kannada remakes of Queen, titled Paris Paris, and Butterfly respectively.
Nandini serial is being aired on Udaya TV at 8:30pm from Monday to Friday, and the makers are looking to replace the actress with a new one.
