Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in the much-talked about film, Darbar, which also features Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar and others in the lead roles. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film is produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
Darbar has all the blockbuster elements such as Anirudh Ravichander as the music director for the film, Santhosh Sivan as the cinematographer for Rajinikanth after Thalapathi (1991), and the cuts of the movie will be handled by Sreekar Prasad. Above all, the only name of Superstar is enough.
There is an interesting addition to this team who are currently busy shooting in Mumbai. Popular director, Seenu Ramasamy has confirmed it on his social media that transgender actress Jeeva who had worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Dharma Durai has joined the cast of Darbar. Now, isn’t that exciting!

Meanwhile, Rajini will be seen donning the cop uniform for the first time after 25+ years, and was last seen in a police role in Pandiyan (1992). Darbar is expected to hit the screens in 2020 during the Pongal.
