Actor Suriya, has turned producer and has produced quite a few films under his banner 2D ENtertainment. His next production venture ‘PonMagal Vandhal’ starring Jyotika has been the talk of the town after the makers announced that the movie will have a direct release on the OTT platform Amazon Prime and will not have a theatrical run, because of the closure of theatres. Producers and theatre owners have put forward their points and a joint decision which is beneficial for all will be taken once the lockdown is lifted.
Meanwhile, the latest update from the team of ‘PonMagal Vandhal’ is that the trailer of the movie is all set to release on the 21st of May. Suriya, the producer of the movie, tweeted “Delay in Justice is Injustice!! #PonmagalVandhal trailer out on 21st May”. ‘PonMagal Vandhal’ is all set for a direct digital release on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video, from the 29th of May.
‘PonMagal Vandhal’ stars Jyotika playing the lead, along with Parthiban, Radhakrishnan, Pandiarajan, Prathap Pothen, and Bhagyaraj playing pivotal roles. The movie is directed by JJ Fredrick, while Govind Vasantha has crooned the music. It is bankrolled by Suriya and Jyothika under the banner 2D Entertainment. Stay tuned for more updates.
