Halitha Shameem, who directed the movie Sillu Karupatti in that line, has today released the trailer of her next movie Aelay. Samuthirakani plays the role of an ice cream vendor. Manikandan, who has acted in films like Vikram Veda, Kaala and Sillu Karupatti, has acted as the son of Samuthirakani.
The Aelay trailer also carries the monotonous things that happen following the death of the Samuthirakani character. Theni Easwar has done the cinematography for this film which is based on a village story. Music is composed by Kaber Vasuki and Arul Dev.
The film, co-produced by Y Not Studios, Reliance Entertainment and Pushkar Gayatri's Wall Watcher Films, is set to release on February 12. Watch the trailer below.
