"RULING PARTY WARNED ME NOT TO SUPPORT VIJAY"

TR says that the ruling party asked him not to support actor Vijay

At the press meet of the upcoming film Vizhithiru, T Rajendar had a lot to offer for the viewers. The star who is known for his rhyming sense spoke about various issues and how he is not scared of threats. Though he had a tiff with actress Sai Dhansika for the fact that she hadn't;t mentioned him in her speech, he also addressed a few other things in his trademark style.

TR spoke about the reason he went and made that viral speech at Thalapathy Vijay's Puli audio launch. He said, "I went and spoke at Puli audio launch. Yeah, I like Vijay, but that is different. I went and spoke at that launch because of its title. Ruling party warned me not to support Vijay and told that the film wouldn't release, but still, I went, I don't care who says what. They tried to raid on the producer and stop the release of the film. But didn't it release? Ask the producer PT Selvakumar."

The multi-faceted T Rajendar got into a heated argument with the Kabali girl Dhansika during the press meet event of Vizhithiru.

When TR was given the mic, he had accused Dhansika of missing to talk about him during her speech, "Dhansika forgot this T Rajendar after acting with Superstar in Kabali, she even failed to mention my name in her speech."

When Dhansika tried to ask Sorry, TR was reluctant and kept going, "There are some basic ethics that you need to follow when you talk on a stage, I will always speak my heart; this is not a controversy, this is the truth. You will have to address everyone who is seated on the stage, that is ethics."

When Dhansika interrupted and said she has great respect for TR and forgot his name as she was not used to giving a speech on stage, TR said "what am I going to do with your respect? in which market could I sell it?". The argument got ugly and Dhansika eventually broke down to tears.
