Simbu was last seen in the lockdown shortfilm ‘Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn’, which is the sequel to his 2010 romantic blockbuster ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’. It is a known fact that STR is fond of cricket and is an avid cricket player himself, right from his childhood.

Throwback video of Simbu bowling in Star Cricket goes Viral

Recently, a throwback video of Simbu bowling in the MAC stadium in Chepauk for the Star Cricket league had gone Viral. STR, sporting a long hairdo was seen bowling medium-pace and also sledging the opponent.

During his over, there happened to be a collision between him and Shanthnu for a catch. Simbu’s angry reaction after the catch drop is priceless and indeed, fans are in love with the aggressive Simbu on-field.

On the work front, Simbu is currently gearing up for the release of his next movie ‘Maha’, in which Hansika will be starring opposite STR. He is also working on ‘Maanaadu’, which is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Watch this space for more updates.
