"WAS APPROACHED FOR BIGG BOSS, BUT THEY OFFERED..." | ACTRESS QUITS SERIAL TO BE A PART OF THE REALITY SHOW?

Recently, actress Saumya Tandon, who rose to fame as Anita aka the Gori Mem in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, had revealed to a leading portal, "Yes, I have decided to not renew my contract further. Tomorrow (August 21) is my last day of shoot. Finally, people can stop speculating whether I will continue on the show or not."

Post this, buzz was on that the actress decided to quit the serial in order to participate in the upcoming Hindi season of Bigg Boss 14. She has now however cleared the air to a publication saying, “I was approached for Bigg Boss, but they have offered me the show a couple of times before as well. But my reason to quit Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain is definitely not Bigg Boss. It was a very premeditated decision and has nothing to do with Bigg Boss. But, I am not doing BB, I don't see myself doing it. I don't think it is for me".

She also added, "I don't think I am capable of that good content or the content they want. Considering that I fire myself from their list on a lighter note. On a serious note, I don't think the show is meant for me."
