The creative producer of Bigil, Archana Kalpathi had posted a status in her official Twitter account to get us all ready for an update regarding the film's single, Verithanam. She also said fans to gear up for an update that they have all been waiting for five years. She has tweeted that the film's single, Verithanam will be releasing on September 1st at 6 PM

Earlier, Archana Kalpathi, through her official Twitter account had release a new poster from the film featuring the looks of the supporting characters. The poster had also mentioned that the film will be releasing on Diwali this year.

Bigil has music composed by AR Rahman while G.K. Vishnu and Ruben handle the cinematography and editing departments of the film respectively. The much expected flick is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment.
