Earlier, we had reported the details of the conflicts in the production of the film, which led to delays and an ultimatum to actor Vadivelu given by the film's production team.

Now, reports are surfacing that reveal that following a complaint made to the Nadigar Sangam by the production side, Vadivelu has sent a letter explaining his side of the case.

The alleged letter has also been leaked online. Vadivelu has apparently stated the reasons on why he doesn't prefer to act in Imsai Arasan 2. Delay in the shooting, change in his costume designer and the producer's complaint allegedly filed to malign his name are some of the key reasons said to be stated in the letter.

When we contacted our close sources, we were told that the letter is about a month old and that the issue has currently been put on hold due to the ongoing film strike. They also added that once the strike is over and work returns to normal, the issue will be brought back for discussion and decision.
