WHEN K-TOWN CHANGED ITS PLANS FOR ITS BELOVED AMMA!

K-town has taken the passing away of our beloved CM Jayalalitha very seriously. Some of the recent events, that had happened, included, stopping of all shoots that were planned for Monday and Tuesday, Atharvaa’s Semma Bodha Aagadha’s teaser postponement, shutting down of all theatres and screens etc. None of these were forced upon or done for the sake of a formality.

The entire industry went quiet and mourned the death of the CM. A lot of stars were present at the funeral and many of them were extremely sad with this huge loss. Ajith Kumar, who was in Bulgaria shooting for his next, dropped down to Chennai immediately, to share his condolences. 

In such grim situations, theatres cannot operate and even if they do, they are reported to have low capacity audiences or empty screens. Some reports seem to state that the two shows on Monday went empty and that even today’s capacity is a meagre 40% at cinema halls. This proves the genuinity that is carried along with the motion.
