Actor Mammootty is basking on the resounding success of recently released Madhuraraja, which has crossed the 100 crore-mark at the box office. In Kollywood, the megastar featured in the Ram-directed Peranbu, which has won widespread acclaim for its portrayal and performances.
The actor has signed up for a historical epic film. Titled Mamangam, this period-film is directed by M. Padma Kumar, who had last directed the critically acclaimed 2018 film Joseph, that Joju George, Dilesh Pothan in crucial roles. The first look of the film was unveiled on 8th June. The poster featured Mammootty as a warrior in the backdrop of a fiery battlefield.
Mamangam is produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the banner Kavya Film Company. The film is shot by Manoj Pillai while Raja Mohammed handles the editing department. The film is set to release in four languages, namely Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
