The story revolves around Srikant Tiwari's double life as a devout 'family man' as the title suggests and as a secret agent in the TASC force. Two years after the first season was released, the critically-acclaimed second season dropped this month and it has never stopped being in news since then.
The show has now been featured on the fourth position in the list of Most Popular TV Shows in the world by IMDb, boasting a solid 8.8 rating. 'Loki', 'Sweet Tooth' and 'Mare of Easttown' are the three shows preceding the Amazon Prime Video show.
Sharing the happy news on Instagram, the makers Raj and DK posted a screenshot of the IMDb list and captioned it saying, "The Family Man, Season 2 is the 4th most popular show worldwide." Fans and celebrities poured in comments of appreciation on the post.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee, the star of the show and his co-actor JK aka Sharib Hashmi too shared the post. IMDb decides its rankings based on user votes. It is to be noted that no other Indian TV show appeared on the top 100 list.
