“WOMEN ARE CURSING ME”

Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai that hit the screens on the 14^th of January had a new villain, the producer/distributor turned Suresh, known as Studio 9 Suresh. The actor has become the most hated and feared person right now after his stupendous performance in the film as the baddie.

Suresh is at a loss of words to express himself on the latest spotlight that is shown on him and credits everything to Bala. He tells behindwoods, “I am not able to fathom what is happening around me. It is a kind of a dream. To me Bala sir is my God who has given me all this. I did not realize much on the first day and on the second day, it all started and my phone has not stopped ringing since this morning. I am too excited. Although I am a producer and distributor, this is the first time, I am experiencing this side of popularity. It feels different. I had got a message saying that if Ashokan and PS Veerappa were to be alive today, they would have really felt proud of me. Everything is because of Bala sir. I just did what he told me, that’s all. I have reaped the dividends of my ten year wait”.

While sharing the theatre response, Suresh says, “A husband took a selfie with me and called his wife to join us. But she was too scared to come near me and ran away. There were women who were cursing me. When Bala sir came to know of this, he said I have succeeded. That’s what I want”.

We will also get to see Suresh in Vishal’s Marudhu. He is producing the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Dharmadurai as well.
